We had an experience today, that we just had to share. We just bought an older motorhome to use for our business. This was the first time acrosss a mountain, and it really didn't want to pull the hill. We were down to about 10 miles an hour, and a long way from the top of the hill. We were East bound on I-70 in Colorado. This was when our new guardian angel appeared, and IT IS A STATE AGENCY!
It is the I-70 West, Courtesy Patrol. It is a free service for stranded freeway motorists sponsored by the Colorado Department of Transportation. They provice assistance to motorists who have mechanical difficulties. For us, they towed us to the top of the hill, and let us go.
All we have to say about the whole experience is: THANK YOU COLORADO!
RV travel should be safe and fun.
