We haven't written much lately, but we are still lving the good life every day. The RV needs constant attention, and somedays it seems overwhelming. When other expenses go up, it is easier to ignore the small maintanace items...don't. THis is your investment in adventure and fun.
The RV industry as a whole is in trouble. as they bail out bankers and auto workers, there are lots of challenges for our industry as well. We are too big not to survive. We need to support our manufacturers and dealers. Buy American as much as you can. Look for the RV parts that are made in America instead of the companies that steal the innovation and have a lesser quality product made in China. Shop at your dealer for parts and service. Most dealers are competitive with pricing. My dealer is consistently lower on prices than Camping World or Walmart. Let's support them so they will be here when we are ready to buy our next rig.

RVs are basically like cars and computers. You can't just leave the minor problems hanging around because they might be the causes of the bigger problems in the future. Oh, and I agree that an RV travel experience is supposed to be fun. =)
