RV Cat -- July

 Yep, it's been a while since I had a chance to write anything. I think I am going to move the blog to a new address. It wil be http://locorvcat.blogspot.com/  I will try to keep you posted. Anyway, it has been an exciting month. First, we spent the 4th of July with Treat Human's sister Angela in Lawrence, Kansas. She and Kent are a kick, and they like cats! I want to go back there sometime.

Next, we went to see the grandchildren. They don't mess with me, but I am not very nice to them. My humans had a really good time, though. We were in Lexington, Kentucky at a place called the Horse Park. There are some beautiful horses there! Here are the kids.

 

RV Cat -- Mille

Mille, that is the name of the beast my humans have. It stands for Mother In Law Living Extreme. That's because it looks like we are pulling a motorhome behind the one we live in. I was going to show you progressive pictures of the gutting and reconstruction process, but that may have to wait. We had the help of an extraordinary crew in Puyallup that put it together, and we only have a few challenges now. Right now, Tall Human has to drive Mille by herself. Today we learned that Mille isn't too excited about pulling hills over 10,000 feet. As her speed went down and down, Tall Human was pulled over by a tow truck for impeding traffic! This was actually the Colorado Courtesy Patrol. This very nice man put a tow strap on the front of Mille, and towed her to the top of the hill at the Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70. It was pretty awesome. It was all downhill from there! I stayed pretty calm through the whole day, but I just have Treat Human in the coach now, and sometimes I jump around just to get some attention. My ears sure pop when we go up to 11,400 ft, and then back down to 5,000. Just when I thought they were done for the day, the storm hit. The thunder was so loud that it shook the coach, and the lightning was hitting all around us. There was also about 4 inches of hail in a couple of minutes. What a great day! We have arrived at our desination safely.

RV Cat -- New births

Oh..Where to start! My humans have gone completely nuts this time, but lets start with congratulations to you Grandma Bitch Lips! The twins are incredible. A boy and a girl, Chloe and Cole. Welcome to the world.

Okay, now you must hear about the other news. It is a rebirth of sorts. My humans  have bought a 20' Winnebago to pull behind our motorhome. They named her Mille, and are calling her the Mother in Law apartment. Too wierd, Huh? Out with the new, in with the old. Here is our van all grown up. It is all now all gutted out inside, and getting ready for a new inside. This will be the Badges R Us shop. I hope it gets some of the mess out of my house and gets my humans more work.

We are staying at the beach for a few days, so it is fun.

RV Cat -- Summers coming

Hi Everyone!How do I know summer is coming? It is getting hot in the desert, and we are headed North. We have had a fun few weeks, and a few challenges. First we got to spend time with our friend Connie in Sierra Vista. She has my favorite yard in the whole world! There are more critters to look at than anywhere we go. No Javelina this time, though.

Then we were off to Albuquerque. Tall human was turning funny colors when we go there. What they call set up day was spent by my humans in the University of New Mexico emergency room. I don't know what an allergic reaction is, but tall human got something called hives, and she was miserable! She wouldn't let me touch her, and she had these great big welts and red and purple spotches all over her. (She was pretty grouchy too). Anyway, they gave her medicine and now, 10 later, she is finally getting better.

We got to see Grammie and Gramps! Finally, they got out of the cold dreary northwest and came to sunshine. They look good, and Grammie is excited because she gets to go to Korea soon. Hopefully, we will get pictures of the big wedding when they get back.

Meanwhile, we are back at sealevel, and Tall Human is feeling much better. It is a lot cooler here, and I can smell that we are getting closer to the ocean. We are about to do a lot of traveling. I know we get to see a lot of friends and family this time of year.

RV Cat -- Family Ties

Okay, I haven't written for a long time, but Tall Human has been trying to starve me to death, and I have been protesting. Don't tell her I have lost several pounds and I feel better!

This is going to be all about Treat Human's family. I travel all over the place with my humans, and no matter what, we don't shop at Walmart. Not ever! We hear the news, and all that is wrong with the world and how wierd times are. Maybe it is time to look at our roots in this country. Treat human is pretty proud of her family. They just built a brand new drug store in a small town in Washington. 50 years ago, her Dad opened the store, and now, after 2 more generations, they have a new building. It has been built on service and community trust, and still operates under those principals. They are in a very small town, and are open every single day. On Holidays, they open for 1 hour, so if someone needs their medicine, they are taken care of. They also built the entire new building with local contractors and used the local lumber yard for all the materials. The picture is of 3 generations of pharmacists. Treat human's Dad is in the middle. Nephew Matt on the left, and Brother Dave on the right. Way to go, guys.

As for us, we are looking forward to a busy spring and summer. We have lots of new products, and are excited to go to The Rally in Albuquerque. We will get headed north after that, and even get to go to Kentucky this year.

RV Cat --- The world has gone nuts!

Whoa! We are in Southern California, and we have been here many times before. It snowed all day, Monday, and that is just wrong! We had a nice visit with Phoebe cat on Sunday. I like Phoebe, but she has a new human baby at her house, and now he moves around. Kieran is really cute, and really happy. Way to go to his Mom and Dad!  

 Okay, that wasn't so weird, but this weather sure is. We are out of here in a couple days, and going to find a desert somewhere.

Now how about all the political crap going on? That's all I'm going to say on that subject.

Okay, Here is the greatest thing of all. I think if you look around on this page you will find a link to Cat Toys. I have just learned that February is National Pet Dental Care Month. Did you know that? If you thought you were going to celebrate Black History month, or ADRESS your Heart Month, or even Valentines day. STOP! You must stop everything, get your pet a new toothbrush and clean you pet's teeth now! As for my humans, I will let you know what hospital they are in if they even come near me with one of those. Really, can you picture Treat Human holding me down, and Tall Human coming at me with a foaming lathering toothbrush? Not gonna happen. For all you others out there go find the link and get your pet dental supplies now. Hurry. the month is half gone!

RV Cat - - Another Month

Wow! Another month is gone. My humans have been so busy they have been ignoring me. I would go on strike but the perks ar too good here.  We have been in California, and doing some shows here. We had a good time in Indio. We did some creative magnetic signs for our friends Smart Car. It was a tough project, but it turned out nice.  All of the lettering on this is magnetic, and fits on the only metal parts of the car.

  We also got to spend a couple days at the ocean. Sorry Grammie and Gramps, but it was warm where we went. We even ate breakfast at the original Sambos in Santa Barbara. We drove up the coast and got our ocean fix for a few months. We were staying at a beautiful Thousand Trails Campground, at Rancho Oso, but we needed a little more cell service than was available there. 

I don't know how they do it, but my humans have several websites. They just build them and then other people send them money for them. I don't know how it works, but they took a class from Robin and Linda,  & now they know how to build them. This week that is what they are doing all the time. RV Cat -- Happy New Year

It is hard to believe that I have been on the road for over 2 years! I love it out here. We have been in one place for the past few weeks, during the Holidays. Although we miss the family, they are buried in snow and ice, and our days are 70 + degrees. I'm sure glad my humans stay here. We have had a real store front kind of booth for the past few weeks. It even has doors! Here is the other reason we were there for so long. This is what I had to wake up to every morning. 

I had birds and bunnies to watch all day, and even javelina at night. (Don't tell Tall Human they were right by our coach every night).

We are on the move again. We got to see our friends in Chandler, and I let their dog come in and see me. They think she is smart, but she didn't even try to chase me, so I don't know. We also got to go for 1 last home cooked meal in Sun City, and now we are on the road. I am so happy to be going, and hopefully the fuel prices will stay low.

We have great hopes for 2009, and are sure it will be a great year. WE look forward to meeting up with a lot of old friends, and are excited for all the new people we will meet.
